Mild is a ship's boy on board the Vivacia.
He forms a distant friendship with Wintrow Vestrit and tries to introduce him into the ways of sailors. Mild dislikes Kyle Haven, like the rest of the crew and prefers the old captain Ephron Vestrit.
He can be reckless and once took up a gamble on being able to fight a bear while intoxicated.
Mild dies during the uprising of slaves during the Vivacia's passage from Jamaillia back to Bingtown.
